Sanskrit Courses Offered in-class in San Jose
Sanskrit Classes are taught in San Jose by Vishwa Krishnamurthy, a senior student of Dr. Sarasvati Mohan. Classes are offered for both adults and kids starting from the age 4. About Vishwa Krishnamurthy
Vishwa Krishnamurthy is a senior student of Dr. Sarasvati Mohan. He has been studying under her since 1999. He has an immense passion for sanskrit.
Vishwa Krishnamurthy enjoys teaching and teaches sanskrit in San Jose, California. He has been teaching since 2003. Students enjoy the classes and in fact seem to dislike missing any of the classes. He offers several extra practice worksheets to help both kids and adults understand the concepts better.

- Where are the classes held?
- At present all classes are taught in Sandeepany building in San Jose. The address is 1050 Park Ave., San Jose.
- When are the classes held?
- At present the classes are held on Saturdays and Wednesdays every week.
- What is the class format?
- Classes are held for one hour every week. Concepts will be introduced in the classes. Students will work from the text books and worksheets provided in the class. Students will be expected to do homework before returning to the class the following week. There will be quizzes, midterm and final at every level. At the completion of each level the students will be awarded a certificate of completion through Sanskrit Academy.
- What lessons are taught in each level?

- How important are the assignments?
- Assignments in each level are very important. Assignments constitute reading, writing and listening to study materials. Students are expected to devote at least 15minutes to 30minutes of sanskrit work everyday .
- What materials do we receive?
- Course materials vary for each level. Generally, you receive one or two books, one or two CDs. Level 1 also includes flash cards. Level 2 includes beginner's dictionary. You may receive some other related papers or tapes for practice if needed. There is a one-time fee charged for the purchase of course materials.
- How much does it cost?

The fees vary by level. The fee structure is as follows:
Level 1: $90 per month
Level 2: $100 per month
Level 3: $110 per month
Level 4: $120 per month
There is also a one-time course material charge. This varies per level. Please contact Vishwa Krishnamurthy for more information. - Do you conduct personal classes?
- At the moment all classes held are only group classes. I believe that the students learn better when they interact in a group. For child batches, I usually wait till there are about 5 students before I can start a new batch. For adults, I usually wait till there are about 3 students.
- What is the current schedule of batches?

- Can my child join an existing batch?
